In fall 2016, Jordan Brand followed up one of its best ever history-inspired colorways. Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard” offered a fresh take on the summer 2015 AJ1 that paid tribute to Michael Jordan’s backboard breaking moment in 1985 while playing for Stefanel Trieste against Caserta. The orange and black layout matches Stefanel’s uniform, commemorating the slam.
