The just-opened Social Status x Jordan Brand pop-up shop generates All-Star level excitement even without the All-Star weekend. The NBA’s decision to wade into the politics of North Carolina’s House Bill 2 bathroom law resulted in the mid-season classic being moved to New Orleans. Fans in Charlotte now must wait until either the bill changes or the NBA reevaluates its decision, but they’ll still have some semblance of celebration with the Social Status x Jordan alliance. The shop will feature a comprehensive Air Jordan restock, as well as serve as the crown jewel of the brands’ combined efforts to host daily All-Star coordinated events for spurned Charlotte fans.
