The return of Air Jordan 15 shines a light on the 1999-2000 period for Jordan Brand, a time that largely has been forgotten. Michael Jordan had moved on to his role as Washington Wizards executive, leaving his Team Jordan athletes to carry the brand on and off-court.
The Jordan Jumpman Swift 6 was one of the designs doing the job, laced on the feet of then-Charlotte Hornets guard Eddie Jones. Like many Jordan sneakers in the early Jordan Brand era, these carried cues from the signature model – Air Jordan 15, in this case.
No retro of the Swift 6 just yet, so collectors will have to continue scouring for pairs. Let us know if you’d like to see these get a re-release.
