Not only was Air Jordan 9 a big break from the Air Jordan 3 through 8 design progression, it brought out the “Olive” look. Was it a hiking boot? No basketball sneaker had ever rocked mossy green like that. The green combined with the blackout look became one of the sleeper hits in the Jordan signature lineup.
