Few colorways scream Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls than the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 4. Released in 1989 as one of Tinker Hatfield’s three handpicked looks for Jordan (Military Blue notwithstanding), the Fire Reds became an instant classic and identifiable piece of MJ’s meteoric rise to the NBA championship. This was his home and away shoe for the first half of the 1989-90 season.

Jordan Brand has yet to re-release the look in its Nike Air format, turning fans’ attention for now to the 2006 and 2012 versions for wearable pairs.

Check out the highly collectible originals now via eBay.
