Kayne West’s final Nike shoe – Yeezy 2 “Red October” – released in 2013, but the colorway and the nickname that goes with it is still very bankable. At least that’s the best guess behind a forming wave of red Jordans for 2017. There’s a red suede Air Jordan 12 in the works, and now a red Jordan Melo M13 happening.
While it might not fly with Carmelo Anthony’s blue and orange Knicks garb, it should work well for the buying public who have a healthy, if not gluttonous, appetite for loud colorways. Everything about the shoe is pure red – mesh, Kurim overlays, lining, soles, you name it. No guesswork.
Let us know your thoughts on the red trend below. More to come.
