The Daily Jordan: Air Jordan 22 “Basketball” – 2007

February 2007 saw one of the boldest Jumpman releases ever in the Air Jordan 22 “Basketball.” Jordan Brand added to the traditional white- and black-based Chicago Bulls styles with a brown leather release that mimicked pebbled basketball hide. Black trim, quilted lining, and Michael Jordan’s signature on each heel finished the theme. The basketball finish hasn’t been used before or since this limited release, making for a true sneaker collectible.
