Thanks to Michael Jordan, there was a bit of levity in the hard-fought war that was the 1992 Knicks-Bulls series. With the games knotted at 1-1 and a pivotal Game 3 in New York, MJ broke loose for an uncontested slam in front of the Bulls bench. A sure two points. Only he back-ironed it, rocketing the ball back downcourt and triggering jeers from the rabid Madison Square Garden crowd, Thankfully for the Bulls, those missed two points didn’t impact the final score – MJ and Bulls prevailed, 94-86.
