Jordan Brand re-released Air Jordan 16 “Bred” for the first time with the 16/7 “Countdown Pack” of 2008. Longtime Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield, fresh off the disappointing Air Jordan 15 in 2000, developed the 16’s foundational elements before handing the project to Wilson Smith, currently a Design Director at Nike. The result was an elegant mesh and nubuck look, mixing in classic cues like patent leather, translucent rubber, blow-molded Air in the heel and Zoom Air in the forefoot. Jordan Brand will begin re-releasing the model with Air Jordan 16 “Midnight Navy” on December 22, 2016. As you wait for the “Bred” to come back, keep an eye on Stadium Goods for new pairs.
