Sneaker fans watching the ESPYs tonight may have caught a slightly important commercial. Jordan Brand ran a spot confirming the debut of Air Jordan 31 on July 20, 2016. Included below, the clip follows the original Air Jordan 1 “Banned” ad from 1985 and closes with the voice-over promise “Defiance Returns.” Jordan Brand also released an image of the two models side by side, each blocked out but revealing the Air Jordan 31 on the right in the AJ1’s famous black and red. You can reserve a livestream spot for Air Jordan 31’s unveil event in Las Vegas here.
