One of the oldest, unsung Air Jordans is on the comeback next month, when Air Jordan 2 Low returns in its original “Chicago” styling for the first time since 1994. Back then, both the High and Low hit shelves, flopped, and then got steep markdowns. Don’t count on that easy cheese replicating this time around. Story goes that Michael Jordan was less than thrilled with the AJ2 and was ready to jump from Nike until Tinker Hatfield stepped in with the legendary Air Jordan 3. The rest is history. AJ2 has since become a legend in its own right, a prime example of minimalist design and one of the first Nike shoes to leave off the iconic Swoosh logo. In case you don’t want to wait for the May 21st drop, find pairs now via eBay.
