With Michael Jordan back in the full swing of his NBA career and the Bulls leading the NBA in wins, it was a given that he’d be voted into the starting lineup for the 1996 East All-Stars. Held in San Antonio, the ’96 All-Star Game featured many of the league veterans stars and up-and-comers in what can be considered the best mix of talent ever assembled for an exhibition.

Jordan was expected to put on a show, to reassert his dominance, and he did just that – 20 points in 22 minutes, and taking home the game’s MVP award. And who can forget the clean white and blue Air Jordan 11 “Columbias” he laced up? Check some MJ highlights from the game below and stay tuned for more #MJMondays.
