Applying Nike Air to new shoes like the Spike Forty is a love-it-or-hate-it proposition. But when it comes to restoring it to a bonafide original like the Air Jordan 6 Maroon or Air Jordan 4 White/Cement, most fans are insta-approving the move.
Coming up for 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend (as of right now), the AJ4 W/Cs not only see Nike Air for the first time since summer ’99, they’ll also sport side mesh panels that run parallel to the lacing – another detail that’s been missing the last 16 years.
With Maroons and Cements re-creating their original looks, are more detailed retros in store for 2016?
Stay tuned for more info.
