Back in the early ’90s nearly everyone wanted to “Be Like Mike.” And, in Gatorade’s mind apparently, there needed to be t-shirts to make that sentiment crystal clear. That’s how Vintage Gear like this all-over graphic tee came about. So confident was Gatorade in the critical mass of their “Be Like Mike” campaign, they didn’t even have to put Michael Jordan’s face on the shirt. Just fill up the space with brightly colored designs, a floating arm reaching for a basketball, and the slogan – done. These types of shirts still haven’t come back in style yet, but if pinrolling jeans like the late ’80s/early ’90s is acceptable again, watch out for the loud tees returning. Check out this shirt and other “attitude era” Jordan tees now on eBay.
