Jordan Brand may or may not have planned for an on-feet shot of Chris Paul in Africa to be the method of revealing his next signature shoe, but here it is. The timing is right – we’re approaching late summer when these reveals usually take place – and the most glaring fact – CP3 wouldn’t have worn them if they weren’t supposed to be seen. So what do we have here in the new Jordan CP3.IX? Looks like a continuation of the longtime low-top styling that’s been the CP3 line’s calling card, with fuse mesh providing the lion’s share of the upper. The Nike Safari print at the heel is a new wrinkle, and we’ll wait to see if it carries over to additional CP3.IX colorways. What do you think? Sound off in the comments and we’ll have more details to share soon.
