Is the inverse of something just as good? It’s that sort of question that Jordan Brand’s 2007 release of the Air Jordan Retro 3 Flip apparently answered yes to. The concept is as straightforward as it gets – put the elephant print where the tumbled leather usually goes, and put the leather where the elephant usually goes. Flip places. Jordan even extended the flip theme to the interior, which was switched to leather from cloth. This White/Black-Metallic Silver-Varsity Red colorway released on March 24, 2007 for $150, and was followed with a “Black Flip” colorway on December 3, 2011 for $175. This size 10 is available via eBay seller scottwang33 and with a quick search there are more to be found in various conditions. Do you have a pair of Flips? Post them with the hashtag #jordansdaily.
