Jabari Parker‘s torn left ACL on December 15 ended his promising rookie campaign and prevented fans worldwide from seeing the former Duke University star’s game grow and develop. A lesser but still unfortunate by-product of the folded season is the missed opportunity to see which Jordan Brand sneakers he would wear as the brand’s highest profile up-and-coming player.
Today, however, Parker provided a glimpse of what might’ve been in the sneaker realm by shooting around at Bucks practice in a pair of white/red Jordan Melo M10, a veritable bringback since Melo M11 releases are currently cycling through. But Bucks fans shouldn’t take Parker’s activity as a sign he’ll pull a Willis Reed comeback for game 2 – he’s still on schedule to be fully recovered by training camp this fall, a good five months from now. Still, it’s encouraging to see Parker on the mend – as we saw in this recent Gatorade commercial – in good spirits, and in Jordans.
