We all know by now that the Air Jordan 6 is going to make a year of 2014 considering it’s the 23rd anniversary of the silhouette – and that just so happens to coincide with the first championship MJ won in 1991. During the season, Mike played in what is now known as the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” with a PE designation on it in a number 23 occasionally. And while the Bulls made easy work of the Los Angeles Lakers while Mike wore mostly the Air Jordan 6 “Black/Infrared”, this original colorway brings back memories of Mike soaring through the air on his way to his first world title. Featuring alternating white and carmine red leather panels, the midsole gets simple work from black to contrast. Dou plan on picking up a pair once they hit retailers in a few weeks? Stick around after the click for a better view and head to our Release Dates page for more info.
