It appears that neither Tony Wroten nor his agent ever received a call from Michael Jordan over the mishap of his Air Jordan 10 and its broken sole during a game against the Indiana Pacers. Initially reported by The Delaware News Journal, they quoted Wroten as saying that he had received an apology call from the head honcho of the Jumpman himself last week after the Air Jordan 10 Retro broke down on court. “He called my agent,” the paper quoted Wroten. Subsequent media outlets reported on the story, including us, but now Wroten’s agent Greg Lawrence told ESPN.com about the misquote. “Tony told me that the media asked him if he thought Jordan would apologize and he answered, ‘He can call my agent.” Do you think Tony still deserves that apology? Stick with us after the click for images of the incident and stay tuned for more Jordan news.
MJ NEVER called and apologized. I was joking around with a local reporter saying “yea he should call me agent” not knowing I would be quoted
