Early on in the Air Jordan story there was much less meticulous cataloging going on. There was no internet to keep its eyes on every little release date and colorway coming out. Some people did catch on early to the value of compiling all the possible Air Jordan info in one place though, resulting in volumes like this by Boon, a Japanese mag that arrived in 1996 breaking down every detail of almost every colorway from Air Jordan’s 1-XI (as well as a couple other sneakers MJ popped up in during his early days, Jordan Brand apparel, and the various goodies from the now extinct Air Jordan Flight Club).
