Will the Air Jordan x Nike SB collaboration ever materialize? We are hoping so, but until that point some clever customizers have linked up those two categories via homemade creations. This Air Jordan III by Mache, created for San Diego Charger Marcus Gilchrist, pairs up two of the most heralded looks from the separate entities: the ‘Cool Grey’ first made famous by the Air Jordan XI and the riot-inducing ‘Pigeon’ from Jeff Staple’s Nike SB Dunk design of the same name. The colorways are a close match to begin with, so the major upgrade comes with the bits of red introduced onto this Air Jordan III, that and the pigeon logo with Gilchrist’s number 38 on the side. Hit the jump to check out the Air Jordan III ‘Pigeon’ customs and let us know if you approve.
