The Air Jordan XVI was a shoe with…well tough shoes to fill. It was a model that initially hit during MJ’s second retirement as well as the first to mark Tinker Hatfield’s initial departure from his design role with Jordan Brand. Despite those hardships it remains a classic, with perhaps the most sought after colorway being the lifestyle looking ginger based one seen here, which plays with the materials a bit and takes off the leather sections in favor of a nubuck finish. Hit the jump for a better look of the Air Jordan XVI ‘Ginger’ and let us know in the comments if you’re waiting for a retro of these. Photos: Kixclusive
