Any doubts about the reception of the Jordan Son of Mars should be pretty much vanquished at this point, with the new hybrid design from Jordan Brand selling out last weekend upon the release of the ‘Pop Art’ colorway. Whether or not the model can keep the momentum going though will be determined by the next drop in line, the club purple version shown here. Opting for a much more unified look with respect to color, the sneaker slips the accenting shade of choice in through the midsole, lacelocks, and Jumpman logo hits. At this point it seems pretty evident that any retro or even retro inspired sneaker from Jordan Brand is destined for sell-out status, so the opportunity to cop a pair early is always a good look. Check out the shots of the Jordan Son of Mars ‘Club Purple’ and hit up the early auction from el-store on eBay.
