Few freshman have had the impact on their team like Carmelo Anthony had. The Syracuse Orangeman averaged a 22 points per game and 10 rebounds per game on his way to helping the university win its first national championship in basketball over the Kansas Jayhawks. Since being drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 2003 NBA Draft, Anthony has paid homage to alma mater via a number of Syracuse themed colorways in his Jordan Melo series. The latest ‘Syracuse’ inspired sneaker comes in the form of this Jordan Melo M8 and is currently scheduled to drop in March, right in time for the Big East and NCAA Tournament.
