Gentry Humphrey recently stepped down as Jordan Brand’s Footwear Business Director and in the time he held the position, he was criticized heavily by sneakerheads for keeping many Air Jordan samples for himself. Today, we take a look at some Air Jordan XI samples that never made it to retail. Among the XIs in Gentry’s impressive sneaker closet are the Black/Varsity Red with a “45” on the back and a carved out midsole that the brand was against releasing and an Obsidian/White XI that gave the shoe a fresh look. Check out more of Gentry Humphrey’s Air Jordan XI samples after the jump and let us know what you think. via SoleCollector.
