Tomorrow, the country will pay their respects to those who have fought in wars both past and present during Veterans Day services from coast to coast. The University of North Carolina men’s basketball team will show their respects the only way they can, by playing basketball. The Tar Heels will take on the Michigan State Spartans on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson in San Diego as part of the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic. In addition to wearing digital camouflage uniforms in their team colors, the Tar Heels will wear a special pair of Air Jordan 8.0’s dubbed the ‘Carrier Classic’.
