Maya Moore’s great first year in the WNBA continues as she adds another piece of hardware to her trophy case. Moore was named the 2011 WNBA Rookie of the Year earlier this morning in voting by a national media poll. Moore, who was selected first overall by the Minnesota Lynx, averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while helping the Lynx to a league best 27-7 record. With the WNBA Playoffs starting tonight, Moore will look put the most important piece of hardware next to her Rookie of the Year trophy. via USAToday.
