Derek Jeter became the 28th player in Major League Baseball history to hit for 3,000 hits when he sent a David Price over the Yankee Stadium fence for a home run. In addition to the DJ3K gear, Jordan Brand is putting up a trunk with all ten of Jeter’s signature shoes in it for auction. Each shoe is autographed by Jeter himself and there are only two trunks in existence with Derek having the other one. On August 12th, Steiner Sports will put the trunk up for auction which will benefit Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation which works to motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and supports healthy lifestyles. Take another look at the DJ3K signature shoe trunk and head over to the auction to bid on a piece of history.
