The release of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ at outlets recently sent the sneaker community in a frenzy and annoyed Nike customer reps at outlets nationwide with endless inquiries about the shoe. Whether or not the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ will release is still unknown at this point but the original banned AJ 1 that started it all recently appeared on eBay. The original Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ is a grail for collectors worldwide so you can expect to get into a bidding war with them as the auction nears its end. Unlike the 2011 retro, the original pair does not feature the red ‘X’ on the rear of the shoe in addition to the lack of banned insignia in the sock liner. This particular pair is in good condition with much of the leather still intact except for the minor chipping around the ankle. Check out the gallery below for more detailed pictures and head over to the auction from chami2112 on eBay.
