It appears that Michael Jordan has surprised the world of sneaker fanatics, almost as much as his 63-point game against the Boston Celtics in the ’86 playoffs. He recently donated a pair of original Air Jordan I samples to the Jordan Brand archive. These sneakers are the highest order of Air Jordan, it is here that many collectors started their collections and it is with this sneaker that many have begun their obsession. Being the most reproduced Air Jordan makes this even more of a commodity. With over 90 colorways many have attempted to capture a glimpse of the man, the sneaker, and the time. There is no denying the legacy that this sneaker has and what it’s contributed. It is rare that one gets to bear witness to (read on twitter) an event of such magnitude as this.
