The Air Jordan 2011 was a revival of sorts for the Jordan signature line in the eyes of Jordan fans, but now the 2011 has taken a cue from Optimus Prime and transformed into another form. Visually, the shoe resembles the Air Jordan XVI from the lateral and features patent leather on the forefoot – another signature detail of the XVI, and the use of photo blue on the midsole and heel provides a vibrancy that was lacking on previous colorways of the AJ 2011 Quick Fuse.
