Dwyane Wade Talks About Michael Jordan’s Influence

Dwyane Wade, much like everyone who watched Michael Jordan growing up, spoke with Chicago Now about how “His Airness” influenced him as a kid. Wade, who is now playing in the Eastern Conference Finals against the hometown Bulls, said that although he wasn’t fortunate enough to own a piece of Bulls merchandise growing up, watching MJ made him feel as if it was personal and that he was a part of something. Jordan not only made Wade feel there was a personal connection between the two, but the Miami star also said that he was inspired to be great like his opponent Derrick Rose because of what Michael accomplished on the court.
