This past weekend the highly anticipated Air Jordan VII ‘Year of the Rabbit’ released and literally sold out within a matter of minutes. The AJ VII ‘YOTR’ have often been compared to the ‘Hare’ VII and in looking at both its easy to see why such comparisons were drawn. The top of the tongue on the ‘YOTR’ VII, one of the few differences between the two, abandons the patterned nature found on other Air Jordan VII’s for a solid red one. Gold, a prominent color on the ‘Year of the Rabbit, takes the place of the white laces, red Jumpman, black heel tab and the purple ’23’ on the back of the shoe. The changes to the outsole are very minor. Like the outsole of the ‘Hare’ VII it is red with a hint of gold and white in place of the black and teal. The differences, if there are any real ones, are few and far between and besides the name, are very similar in nature. Check out additional images in the gallery and let us know what you think about the Hare vs. Rabbit comparison.
