When Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” first released in summer 1998, Michael Jordan was still a member of the six-time world champion Chicago Bulls. It’s one of the select non-Bulls colorways to release during MJ’s prime playing career, which had veered even more into lifestyle territory when Jordan Brand became a fairly free-standing entity under Nike in 1997. So not only are these a cult favorite, they also occupy a nice little place in Jumpman history. They also haven’t re-released in the 19 years since the OGs dropped, so this retro is sure to be highly anticipated. Release day is still slated for June 10th – catch more official images below and let us know if you’re copping these for old times’ sake or trying them out new.
