Looks like Jordan Brand is taking its 1987 classic back to basics. Air Jordan 2 began life as a Made in Italy creation of fine leather and craftsmanship. Air Jordan “Decon” appears to recapture that upscale ethos.
Seen here in an assortment of monochrome colorways, this AJ2 has been deconstructed to bare essentials – no thick padding or lining, no massive heel counter with accordion ribbing, no extra overlays. Just style and suede. Even the TPU plastic eyerows have been omitted in favor of simple eyelets.
Word is that a release is due in July for but the specifics of which colorways will happen when remains hushed at the moment. Check out the images here and let us know your first impression of the Air Jordan 2 “Decon.”
