The Air Jordan 1 “Royal” release on April 1st seemed to be an easy release for some, impossible for others. What was expected to be a reasonable allotment of pairs turned out to be more limited than assumed, which ramped up demand even more. Though Michael Jordan never wore this OG colorway in an NBA game, it’s taken on grail status for many who appreciate the timeless, classic black and blue combo. Jordan Brand even brought back the textured leather detailing for a true throwback feel. Gone at retail, you can now find these at top sneaker shops.
