Air Jordan XXX “Cosmos” arrived in July 2016 as a very limited edition release to coincide with the Quai 54 streetball tournament. he colorway was inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s interpretation of Michael Jordan’s dunking silhouette from the 1988 slam dunk contest. Hatfield applied a galaxy motif to the photo as a sort of visual commentary that Jordan’s talent is from another world, even another universe. With the expressive graphic in play, the fundamentals fell into place – Zoom Air cushioning, a reinforced toe, and ample ankle protection teamed for optimal performance.
