Sneaker art has taken on many forms over years – everything from masks made of sneaker uppers to official collaborations like the Dave White x Air Jordan 1. One of the latest additions to the sneaker art scene comes from TYP, who connected his painting style with the timeless image of Michael Jordan. As you’ll see in the video included here, TYP first created a canvas by applying halves of Air Jordan 1s to a 46 x 58 inch board, then applied acrylic paint in the form of MJ soaring at the 1985 Slam Dunk Contest.
