So many colorways for Air Jordan 1 Low have been released over the years, but there’s only been one Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1. This lowtop released in spring 2002, reimagining some of the AJ1’s design cues in a mix of old school meets the future. The familiar shape was retained but the Swoosh was left off in favor of a debossed Air Jordan Wings logo. Other tweaks included a two-tone midsole, reworked outsole with translucent rubber added, and tiny Jumpman logos. While this model and its additional colorways didn’t sell out upon release, it has become something of a collector’s item in the 15 years since along with its brother Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 2.
