Tinker Hatfield took Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname literally in the mid-1990s. His Air Jordan 13 design brought to life a distinct cat-like theme, complete with cat eye holograms, dimpled panels resembling whiskers, even a paw shaped sole. For winter 2017, Jordan Brand connected its blackout “Black Cat” colorway to the shoe, bringing the theme full circle for its 20th anniversary. Release is scheduled for Saturday, January 21st.
