Don’t close the door on Air Jordan 12 OG colorways just yet – Air Jordan 12 “Varsity Red” looks to be on the comeback for 2017.
First released in 1997 and worn by Michael Jordan for regular season road games that year, the Varsity Red 12 is quintessential Chicago Bulls with a white tumbled leather upper, red embossed leather rands, and black lining. It was also in this colorway that MJ dropped 45 points on the Seattle SuperSonics on February 2, 1997, including a half-court jump shot to close the first quarter.
We haven’t seen these at retail since December 2009, which makes this re-release quite overdue. Stay tunef for release details.
