Ladies colorways have been a release schedule staple since Jordan Brand kicked off its retro run in 1999. When Air Jordan 5 came back full force in 2006, ladies got their own “Sunset” edition. This look remixed the traditional color blocking by concentrating the bulk of the red trim at the outsole, then highlighted with orange to go with a white leather upper. Predictably, many of the larger sizes for ladies were snapped up by guys who couldn’t resist the clean look. Jordan Brand hasn’t re-released this colorway yet, but based on its reception in ’06 it would be a good choice.
