Though the 2006 and 2012 releases of this beloved Air Jordan 4 were dubbed Varsity Red, they’ll forever be known as the Fire Reds to most Jordan fans. One of the four original Air Jordan 4 colorways released in 1989, the Fire Reds saw time on Michael Jordan’s feet for the first half of the 1989-90 NBA season for home and away games. The results were great – MJ averaged 33.6 points and helped the Bulls take a step closer to their championship dynasty.
