During his stellar 1986-87 season in which he averaged a career high 37.1 points per game, MJ dropped 61 on the his near future rival Detroit Pistons. The performance was a young superstar at his best, hitting from all over the court and frustrating the Pistons’ usually strong defense. The Italian-made Air Jordan 2 was on his feet for the game, white laces added.
