For Marquette’s match against Western Carolina tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, the squad is rocking Air Jordan 31 “N7” to honor Native American Heritage Month. Along with the turquoise-tinged sneakers, the Golden Eagles will also don a matching turquoise uniform.

Wisconsin’s American Indian heritage is one of the richest in the country, with Ojibwe, Mohican and Potawatomi tribes among the first inhabitants of the state’s land.

Proud of my @marquette.basketball family honoring Native American Heritage Month with #niken7 tonight. @jumpman23
