For the 2012 Air Jordan 9 “Photo Blue” release, Jordan Brand let the contrast stitch do the talking.
Black leather and nubuck teamed for a “Black Cat” style colorway, then the Photo Blue was turned up on the stitching, logos, and lining for a backlight effect that turned the muted upper into one of the brightest AJ9s ever released.
Not an instant sellout in 2012, these have since caught on with select Jordan fans and are becoming tougher to find in deadstock condition. Head over to Stadium Goods to shop pairs now.
