The friendship between Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley isn’t back to where it was after all.
The NBA legend and TNT broadcaster clarified his rocky status with MJ to “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stu Gotz” on ESPN Radio, saying the pair’s recent photo op does not mean they’re having three-hour conversations again.
“I love him like a brother but we are not back to where we used to be,” Barkley said.
Earlier this month, Kenny Smith – Jordan’s old University of North Carolina teammate and Barkley’s TNT co-host – implied that a peace had been brokered between the two stars. Alas, there is apparently more work to be done, if either Jordan or Barkley want to.
