A long time coming, Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” finally releases this Saturday in its 1988 original form for the first time ever as a retro. After approximately two years hiatus for the model, Jordan Brand chose to bring it back in high style with a look that hits all of the authentic cues – deep blue accenting, red-lined tongue, and especially the Nike Air branding on each heel. They even unearthed a Michael Jordan-signed original edition to give fans the full context of how special the retro drop is. Jordan never wore True Blue 3s in NBA games, but wore them for plenty exhibition and promotional use. Take a closer look at the OG version below, compare to the retro True Blues releasing, and let us know if you’re even more swayed to purchase this Saturday.
