Kenny “The Jet” Smith may have saved the Michael Jordan-Charles Barkley friendship, one of the great alliances in sports.
The “Inside The NBA” co-host and two-time NBA champ with the Houston Rockets appears to have brokered a truce of sorts between the two legends, posting up a photo of the reunited buddies.
“There was no tension,” Smith told TMZ. “It was all love.”
The two Hall of Famers, who had been close friends since joining the NBA in 1984, allegedly fell out in recent years over Barkley’s possibly undue criticism of Jordan’s NBA ownership track record.
Watch the TMZ clip below and let us know if this sounds like the MJ/Barkley friendship is on the mend.
