While the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 represents the colorway impasse between Michael Jordan and the NBA in 1984-85, the “Black Toe” 1 helped define Michael Jordan on the court. Jordan wore these and the “Chicago” colorway most during his rookie season, helping spur sales of the $65 kicks ($145 in 2016 money) worldwide. Jordan Brand is bringing Black Toes back in remastered form, mixing the classic hightop height with red, white and black leather appointments.
